Honor Magic V Flip to Get Large Cover Display, Circular Camera Island, Design leaked

Chinese smartphone maker Honor’s first clamshell foldable smartphone Magic V Flip may be launched soon. However, the company has not confirmed it. Its leaked specifications have indicated its design. It may have a large cover display. A circular camera island is also visible in it.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the alleged design of the Magic V Flip. It has a circular camera module with a single LED flash. This could be the thinnest and lightest flip style foldable smartphone. It will compete with Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. This foldable smartphone can be brought in the first half of this year. Honor CEO George Zhao had revealed in February that the company was working on a clamshell foldable smartphone. The company has launched some book-style foldable smartphones in international markets.

The company introduced the Magic V2 foldable smartphones in international markets outside China at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) earlier this year. Honor Has prepared to launch these smartphones in India also. This series includes Honor Magic V2 and Magic V2 RSR. Madhav Sheth, CEO of the company’s unit in the country, in a post on social media platform smart fone has hinted at the launch of Honor X Fold 3 Pro in India soon. This post includes a poster announcing the launch of Vivo’s X Fold 3 Pro, with this Sheth has taken a dig at Vivo’s foldable smartphone. Along with this, the text written in this post says that Honor’s Magic series will exceed the expectations of the customers of the country. However, the launch date of these smartphones has not been given.

Honor Magic V2 was launched in September last year. After this, the company in collaboration with Porsche Design introduced the special edition Magic V2 RSR of this smartphone. Both these smartphones have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC as processor. These smartphones have a 6.43 inch OLED cover display and 7.92 inch inner OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
